The Vice President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Delcy Rodríguez, participates in the Energy Week in India, an event of great relevance that brings together more than 70,000 delegates, 105 sessions and more than 500 speakers.
Through her social networks, she reported that she held a productive bilateral meeting with the Secretary General of the Organization of Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC), Haitham Al Ghais:
“We convey the greetings of President Nicolás Maduro Moros to this organization that is so important for the stability of prices and the international energy market.”
The Vice President also announced that she reiterated the benefits and virtues of OPEC and the OPEC Plus Agreement.
He also discussed cooperation and intra-organizational cohesion to achieve new goals in the future.
Venezuela is a founding member of OPEC, has the largest certified crude oil reserve in the world and is awaiting certification as the fourth largest gas reserve in the world.
