This Sunday, the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, extended his congratulations to the boys and girls for commemorating their day on July 17:
“We celebrate Children’s Day, together with the little ones in the house, the light that illuminates our homes”, said the National President through the Twitter social network.
He added that the creativity and innocence, as well as the dreams and desires of children, are the impulse to continue fighting for the construction of a better country.
In Caracas, several activities were organized this Saturday to celebrate with children in locations such as La Pastora, the Ezequiel Zamora and Ali Primera parks, the squares Diego Ibarra, La Candelaria and more.
Likewise, on Friday more than 1,700 boys and girls attended the Los Caobos park where the Children’s Foundation had different recreational activities, said its president, María Carneiro de García.
