COVID: Venezuela registered 45 new cases in the last 24 hours

A total of 45 new cases of COVID-19 were detected in Venezuela in the last 24 hours, of which three cases are imported from Panama (2) and Cuba (1), bringing the confirmed accumulated total to 525,827 cases.

The community cases registered today are located in Caracas (14), Miranda (7), Barinas (5), Zulia (3), Guárico (3), La Guaira (2), Trujillo (2), Portuguesa (2), Yaracuy (1), Cojedes (1), Carabobo (1) and Táchira (1).

This was announced this Monday by the Sectoral Vice President for Communication, Culture and Tourism, Freddy Ñáñez, during the customary daily balance offered by the Presidential Commission for the Control and Prevention of COVID-19, through his account on the Twitter social network, @luchaalmada.

On day 834 since the pandemic arrived in Venezuela, the country records the figure of 5,730 as the total number of deaths, with one deceased in the last 24 hours. The number of recovered patients is 518,287 and there are 1,810 current active cases.
