Venezuela and Algeria relaunch High-Level Joint Commission

The President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, announced that together with Algeria it has been decided to relaunch the High-Level Mixed Commission with the purpose of drawing up the economic map of joint work.

During the international media conference, accompanied by his Algerian counterpart, Abdelmajid Tebboune, the head of state said: «We have decided to build a powerful economic, commercial, financial agenda, of joint work, of common prosperity between the two countries”.

Likewise, the national president pointed out that both delegations reviewed the energy, oil, agricultural, science, technology and university education issues: “As of today, a new stage begins in the relations between the peoples of Venezuela and Algeria. Heading towards union and shared responsibility”, he emphasized.

He announced that Venezuelans and Algerians will soon be able to have a direct connection through flights between the two nations.

In another order of ideas, President Maduro stated that both countries have analyzed world geopolitics and have a common vision towards a new and multipolar world. In this sense, they made a call to react and to protect the Saharawi people:

«I have expressed President Tebboune the admiration of Venezuela for Algeria’s firm position in defense of the Saharawi people”, he asserted.
