FANB will keep orange alert in Colombian-Venezuelan border

The Bolivarian National Armed Forces (FANB) maintains the “orange alert” decreed a month ago by the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, given the intention of the Colombian government to stimulate a conflict between the two nations.
Through his Twitter account, the head of the Military Operational Strategic Command, Remigio Ceballos, indicated that the military exercises, which were scheduled to culminate on September 28, will also continue, although he did not specify for how long.
The military exercises ordered by President Maduro on September 3 were scheduled to culminate on September 28, and so far has not been offered a balance of the maneuvers that are part of the orange alert declared by the president on the border between Colombia and Venezuela.
The maneuvers are carried out in Zulia, Táchira, Apure and Amazonas states, territories that make up the 2,219 kilometers of border that Venezuela shares with Colombia.
