President Maduro: Lima Group has its countries in crisis and on fire

This Friday, the president of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, emphasized that the so-called Lima Group accuses him of being a dictator, while its countries are in social and economic crisis:
“The government of the United States and the Lima Cartel says that in Venezuela there is a dictator, while their countries are on”, said the President in a joint radio and television broadcast during a meeting with the Workers Producers Councils (CPT), from the José Félix Ribas Hall, at the Teresa Carreño Theater, in Caracas city.
This Thursday, after the election of Venezuela in the Human Rights Council of the United Nations (UN), the Lima Group indicated that it will join efforts within the international organization to attack the South American nation, through the revival of the media campaign about an alleged violation of human rights in the country.
The Lima Group decided “to make the greatest efforts to continue, in said Council, the investigation of systematic violations of human rights in Venezuela, so that those responsible for these criminal acts do not go unpunished”, says the agency’s statement , as quoted by the Argentine news agency Télam.
With 105 votes, Venezuela won a seat in the UN Council along with Brazil, who obtained 193 votes for the member states of the General Assembly. The other country that disputed a seat was Costa Rica, who got 96 votes.
