Electricity service restored to the south-west of the country after a new attack on the SEN

The electrical service was restored to the south west of the country after a new attack, as reported on the Twitter social network the Ministry of People’s Power for Electric Energy.

They emphasize that after the work of the workers of the National Electric Corporation (Corpoelec), it was possible to restore the service:

Thanks to the work of the Corpoelec workforce, the electricity service in the southwestern region of the country was 100% recovered, after a new attack against the National Electric System (SEN)”, refers the message.

The National Executive has denounced that these attacks against the electrical infrastructure of the country are part of a multifaceted sabotage for political reasons.

It is part of a strategy supported by the Venezuelan extreme right wing, which has external support, to achieve destabilization and social discontent.

In his memory and account, on January 15, the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, also pointed out that the blockade imposed by the United States has repercussions in this regard.

One of the most recent attempted attacks was carried out a few days before the election for the governor of Barinas state.
