President Nicolás Maduro instructs to speed up transition to the post-oil economy

The President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, led a new productive Wednesday journey, dedicated this time to strengthening the animal protein sector in the country.

During this activity, the Head of State assured that the national government is committed to maintaining the real economy and advancing in a new era for the post-oil economy.

He recalled that 2021 was the year of the growth of the real economy: “We achieved it with great effort, articulating the productive sectors, with a flexible economic strategy, adjusted to reality”, he affirmed.

In this sense, he assured that it is necessary to promote a productive attitude and to advance in the 18 Engines of the Bolivarian Economic Agenda:

“We must advance on all battle fronts, on the 18 Motors, we did advanced on all of them, there was an expansion of the internal market that is very important, its strength, because that is where all the products of the Venezuelan economy go”, he said.

Likewise, he explained that among the main objectives of his government is to promote the Engine of Entrepreneurship as the new Engine of the Bolivarian Economic Agenda, in all sectors, to consolidate both internal consumption and the export of the most diverse goods and services with seal Venezuelan.

During this journey, the national president instructed to promote the production of proteins for the benefit of the Venezuelan people:

“The goal is to take protein consumption from 48 kilos to 60 kilos, Venezuela has it all, it has the organization, the knowledge, the science, it has the entrepreneurs,” he said during a tour of the facilities of the “El Cedrito” Integral Farm, located in the Plaza Municipality of Miranda state

He stressed the need to multiply enterprises in urban and rural communities for the production of goats and sheep, applying the 4Fs formula:

“We have to diversify the sources of wealth and that Venezuela has as much or more wealth than that produced by oil”, instructed President Maduro, with the aim of accelerating the transition to a post-rentier economy.
