The text is emphatic in stating that “The Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela rejects the disconcerting judicial pronouncement of the Supreme Court of Justice of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, which by denying justice and not exercising judicial control of the acts of the public power irrational as they may be, it impedes the right of the Venezuelan State to dispose, through the Central Bank of Venezuela (BCV), of part of its international reserves deposited in the Bank of England. “

The constitutional government of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela emphasizes that “Said decision violates the norms of Public International Law, the Venezuelan constitutional order and British legislation, at the same time that it represents serious risks for the investments that the international community has entrusted to the financial system of the United Kingdom, being that it resorts to fraud to illegally seize the resources entrusted to it”.

Similarly, the official text establishes that “The Supreme Court of Justice of the United Kingdom has been subordinated to the mandate of the British Executive, evidencing the lack of separation of powers, impartiality and, above all, independent action of this body of Justice.”

It also affirms that “the British Government resorts to a fraudulent political setup, in complicity with extremist factors in Venezuelan politics, led by the impostor Juan Guaidó, with the perverse goal of shamelessly stealing the gold of Venezuelans and seizing the international reserves of the Venezuelan State, within the framework of the unlawful framework directed from Washington to deprive the resources that are property of our people”.

“In Venezuela there exists, by mandate of popular sovereignty through universal vote, a single constitutional government, whose Head of State and Government is President Nicolás Maduro Moros”, the statement bluntly points out.

In this context, the text states that “The British government is aware that these reserves are internationally protected by their own immunity, and also that granted to them by the internal legislation of the United Kingdom, through the “Immunity Act” “.

The Government of Venezuela finally assures that “Faced with this attempt at gross dispossession, the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela will continue to exercise all the resources at its disposal in the defense of the heritage that is part of its international reserves, as well as the legitimate rights of the Venezuelan people, both internationally and within its own jurisdiction. Venezuela will continue its course of peace and prosperity”.
