Sasha Llorenti, executive secretary of the Bolivarian Alliance for the Peoples of Our Americas – Peoples’ Trade Treaty (ALBA-TCP), reported that next Tuesday, December 14, the organization will hold in Havana, Cuba its 20th Summit of Heads of State and Government, in order to commemorate the 17th anniversary of its founding.
During his participation in the closing of the World Congress of Peoples for Peace, led this Friday by the President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, Llorenti announced the regional bloc is evaluating the creation of an observatory to study the resources that international powers “are gearing to undermine the sovereignty of the peoples”, in reference to the so-called summit of Democracy sponsored in recent days by the government of the United States.
