The Bolivarian Alliance for the Peoples of Our Americas – Peoples’ Trade Agreement (ALBA-TCP), rejected the interventionist action of the US administration against the Republic of Nicaragua.
The United States promulgated on November 10, 2021, the “Law to Enforce Compliance with Conditions for the Electoral Reform in Nicaragua.”
ALBA reiterated the call to all the States of the United Nations General Assembly “to cease to apply unilateral measures contrary to International Law, International Humanitarian Law, the Charter of the United Nations and the norms and principles that govern the peaceful relations between states”.
The regional Alliance reiterated its solidarity with the people and the Government of Reconciliation and National Unity of the Republic of Nicaragua.
