Herrera: It’s better to be voting than making riots

Constituent and professor, Earle Herrera, said this Monday that “it is better to be voting than to go around making “guarimbas” (riots), blocking streets and kidnapping people”.

In his opinion, the right wing has reached the maximum level of violence and many would like to continue generating chaos in the country, but could not do so thanks to the arrival of the National Constituent Assembly.

He also said that the opposition could not make their trips in August, because they had to prepare for the regional elections to be held in October.

Finally, he stressed that now they will have to struggle to convince their followers to vote for the right wing candidates, since they lied to them by assuring that with the violence they would end the Government led by the president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro.

The information was provided during his participation in the “Al Aire” (On Air) program, broadcast by Venezolana de Televisión.
