Venezuela remains at the forefront of consolidating 21st-century energy security

During the meeting to activate the Hydrocarbons Engine, the President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro Moros, emphasized that «nothing and no one will be able to bring the Venezuelan nation out of the energy security equation.»

From the headquarters of Petróleos de Venezuela S.A. (PDVSA), he also said that they will not be able to bring Venezuela out from the equation of stability and energy security in today’s world, in the 21st century, since this development project was written, conceived, and left as a legacy by Commander Hugo Rafael Chávez Frías:

«We have a sovereign project, because the true nationalization of hydrocarbons in Venezuela was created by Commander Hugo Chávez,» assured the President.

He also detailed each of the Engines established in the Bolivarian Economic Agenda, which were simplified by the Head of State into thirteen (13) Engines , which are:

– Hydrocarbons

– Agri-Food, Fisheries, and Aquaculture

– Non-Oil Exports

– Mining and Basic Industries

– Civil and Military Industry

– National and International Tourism

– Construction

– Pharmaceuticals

– Digital Bolívar

– Banking and Stock Market

– Entrepreneurship

– Socialist and Solidarity Communal Economy

– Telecommunications and New Technologies

Furthermore, the President emphasized that the Nation has everything it needs to continue growing steadily and through its own efforts, because «we are prepared to continue advancing triumphantly in a new model that supplies the country with quality products.» These thirteen Engines are part of the process of building a new economy, which is in an advanced phase and must be consolidated in the coming years.
