States Yaracuy Aragua and Bolivar, are the entities with the highest number of Covid 19 cases in the last 24 hours.
Delcy Rodríguez, Vice President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, informed via Twitter that 1,318 cases were detected throughout the country, all of them community-transmitted.
22 people, aged between 42 and 91 years, unfortunately died in Venezuela. To date, the total number of infections is 188,063, recovered patients total 171,043, current active cases count 15,033 and the total number of deaths is 1,987.
The Presidential Commission for the Prevention and Control of Covid-19 urges Venezuelans to be extremely careful and rigorous with biosecurity measures, in view of the fact that our region reported more than 1.5 million cases and almost 40,000 deaths.
