This Tuesday the Minister for Communication and Information, Freddy Ñáñez, highlighted that the country 366 days after the pandemic registered 540 new infections by Covid-19, 519 of community transmission and 21 imported cases.

This was announced on his (account on the) Twitter social network: “To date, 3,023,794 tests have been carried out. This represents 100,793 tests per million inhabitants ”, highlighted Ñáñez.

He further added that 3,972 patients are asymptomatic, 2,578 with mild Acute Respiratory Failure, 466 with Moderate Acute Respiratory Failure and 150 in the Intensive Care Units.

The Minister also added that: «Unfortunately we reported 7 deaths due to this virus: 2 women aged 67 and 62 from Caracas, a man aged 62 from Caracas, 2 women aged 58 and 71 from Aragua, a 58 years old woman from Miranda, a 31-year-old man from Amazonas state. Condolences to Their relatives”.
