The president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, approved the coverage of integral care for all fishing communities in the national territory through the recently activated Great Mission of Equality and Social Justice “Hugo Chávez”, regarding the celebration of the Day of the Venezuelan Fishermen and Fisherwomen, from Carúpano, in Sucre state.
This initiative was approved by the head of State, in compliance with vertex number 12 of the aforementioned social program and is part of the Great Mission Agrovenezuela and, in turn, is related to comprehensive care for the country’s peasant and fishing communities in the health and housing areas, among others: “Comprehensive care and coverage and social protection for the rural, fishing and urban communities, approved vertex 12 of the Great Mission Agrovenezuela.”
On the other hand, the constitutional president announced that, this March 15, the sardine fishing season will begin in the country, a work that will begin after the three-month ban period has been fully fulfilled, a period in which the capture of (these) species is prohibited. species, with the purpose of avoiding predation of natural resources and allowing their reproduction and subsistence.
