Executive declares strategic all material that can be recyclable

The President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, signed a Decree by which all material that can be recyclable is declared strategic, including aluminum, fiber optics, electronic cards, cardboard, among others.

In this sense, a maximum period of 60 days is established for everything belonging to public bodies to be made available to the Ezequiel Zamora Socialist Corporation, “in order to make the resources that Venezuela has more efficient,” explained the Executive Vice President, Delcy Rodríguez.

The main objective of this measure is to invest the resources derived from this strategic material recycling for the national industry and a surplus that can be used for export.

All financial resources from this recyclable material will be directed to strategic projects, Rodríguez detailed from Cagua, Aragua state, during a productive journey headed by President Maduro.

Digital tax collection:

The president, Nicolás Maduro, authorized the country’s mayors and governors through a Decree to use the appropriate mechanisms and implement digital tax collection.

This measure allows the installation of a system for collecting taxes and resources for the municipalities in favor of the people.

The President stressed that “each governor and mayor needs resources to improve their entity and municipality,” therefore it is necessary to promote the use of the digital economy in all states.

For her part, Vice President Rodríguez pointed out that “this software, developed in the Alcaraván company of Guárico state, is available to municipalities at zero costs, whoever wants to implement it we provide them and it is an extraordinary management tool for municipalities from the country”.
