The National Constituent Assembly (ANC) was essential to pacify the country and create laws: “They as the Legislative Branch will deliver an account of all their hard work in these difficult times,” said the Venezuelan head of state, Nicolás Maduro, during a press conference with representatives of national and international media.
He stressed that a virtuous and necessary cycle is being completed, and recalled that on a May 1, supported by the Bolivarian Constitution, he called for the Original Power: “Today we can say it was worthwhile to convene the Constituent Power, it was useful and necessary, a high impact for the modern history of this country. The ANC allowed us to take the reins, avoid a civil war and consolidate peace between 2017 and 2020. It led us to peace ”.
President Maduro added that he also did a legislative work, of constitutional decrees and laws and constituent laws that get out of sight, which include the Anti-Blockade Law, of a constitutional nature, its management has been very successful.
