US military intervention plan against Venezuela was planned in December

The military intervention plan that the President of the United States, Donald Trump, intends to deploy against Venezuela, was planned in December last year, as revealed the ambassador of our country to the United Nations, Samuel Moncada.

The message was published on Twitter and is related to Washington’s announcement of the deployment of a military operation against drug trafficking in the Caribbean, supposedly to curb drug trafficking in the area, but with the true goal of deposing the constitutional president of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, in order to impose a «transitional government«.

Moncada warned that the White House also seeks, with this military deployment, to prevent trade between Cuba and our country, which he described as an act of war “to cause maximum suffering”

“The US militaries does not understand the genocidal order when they need resources to stop the greatest tragedy in the history of their own country in 100 years”, he said, adding that “the genocidal colonial war is explained by analysts with two reasons: to hide the gigantic internal tragedy and take advantage of the pain of the world to invade Venezuela without being condemned by humanity. Thus they cruelly enhance the destructive effects of the catastrophe by the coronavirus”.

Finally, Moncada stressed that “criminal opportunism endangers the lives of entire peoples with the excuse that the US military is going to reduce drug trafficking. The proven historical relationship is simple: more US military bases = more cocaine production in Colombia. Trump lies to the world!

“Military aggression against Venezuela was planned in December. Now they take advantage of the pandemic to justify the crime. Military leaders are in “shock” at the immorality of their leaders, as there is no connection between drug trafficking and the covid19 catastrophe”.
