In a meeting with representatives of the agricultural and fishing sectors, the President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, announced the 12 pillars of the Great AgroVenezuela Mission and an ambitious simplification plan that seeks to optimize productive strategies in Venezuela:
«We are working on simplification because we have built twelve absolutely pertinent pillars,» he stated, underscoring the importance of these guidelines for the country’s development.
The pillars mentioned by the President are as follows:
– First pillar: Land and productive spaces.
– Second pillar: Good agricultural practices, mechanization, and implements.
– Third pillar: Biological and synthetic inputs.
– Fourth pillar: Seeds and sovereign genetics, fundamental.
– Fifth pillar: Organization of the base of People’s Power.
– Sixth pillar: The productive agricultural portfolio, democratizing it and ensuring that it reaches those who produce and those who need it.
– Seventh pillar: Production, processing, distribution, and supply.
– Eighth pillar: The development of research, development, and innovation.
– Ninth pillar: Defense, security, and comprehensive peace.
– Tenth pillar: The healthy nature of food.
– Eleventh pillar: The technological communication and educational platform.
– Twelfth pillar: Comprehensive care for rural, fishing, and urban communities.
During this productive work day, the President urged the «work collectives, rural entrepreneurs, farmers, and fellow fishermen and women, as well as fellow fishermen and women, and aquaculture farmers, to carefully study the documents and instruments being implemented, and explained that «this allows us to organize our thinking, and by organizing our thinking, we organize our action plans and become more efficient.»
President Maduro, in his speech, indicated that reengineering is being carried out in these areas:
«It has yielded results, but I think we can simplify it into five areas, perhaps seven,» he noted, adding that «the more simplified a plan is, the easier it is to implement, monitor, and comply with it.» He also emphasized his commitment to more efficient management in the country’s productive sector.
