“A new plan for destabilization, violence and a coup d’etat against Venezuela is being developed from the United States”, denounced this Sunday the constitutional president of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro Moros, from Miraflores Palace.
The National President stressed that Venezuelan extreme right-wing leaders are participating in this plan, inciting from the social networks and the media to a bloody coup d’état in Venezuela, because in the face of the COVID-19 pandemic, the US empire underestimates the will of the people to protect their sovereignty.
In this sense, he called on the Bolivarian National Armed Forces (FANB) and the entire people of Venezuela to be alert to possible attacks against national peace.
“The great majority of us are united on one front, to overcome the Coronavirus, studying and joining efforts to care for our people,” he pointed out.
He also repudiated the persecution of the Donald Trump administration in the global pharmaceutical industry by threatening companies not to articulate with Venezuela in the face of the COVID-19 pandemic that has affected 157 countries on a global scale.
