Maduro: Bolivarian Military Aviation is a pillar of the Venezuelan air defense

The President of the Republic and Commander in Chief of the Bolivarian National Armed Forces, Nicolás Maduro, affirmed this Wednesday that the Bolivarian Military Aviation (AMB) has played an important role in the defense and stability of the nation.
“I want to express my admiration and recognition of the role that Bolivarian Military Aviation plays in the defense of Venezuela’s airspace, of peace, independence and national security”, he said at the “Lt. Luis del Valle García” Air Base, located in Barcelona, Anzoátegui state.
The President stressed that this year have been detected so far 47 maneuvers that aimed to leave the Venezuelan nation without air defense, while asserting that these plots “were financed with dollars from Colombia to try to sabotage (our) Sukhoi systems”.
He also stressed that “2019 has been a year of great battles and we can say one of great victories and advances of Venezuela”, where the Military Aviation has played a leading role.
In that line, he ordered to remain alert to continue defeating any action that has the purpose of destabilizing the nation, and so he detailed that “it is thanks to the moral and commitment of the officers of the military component that we have managed to defeat those spells, those plots”.
