ANC brought peace to Venezuela after four months of violence

“After the great damages suffered in four months of violence, Venezuela resumed the path of recovery with the election of candidates to the National Constituent Assembly”.

This was stated on Tuesday by the President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, during his participation in a press conference held at Miraflores Palace.

In his speech, the Head of State recalled the serious damage suffered by the country by the violence promoted by opposition groups that attempted to execute a coup plot to end the Bolivarian Revolution.

In his opinion, the President expressed that thanks to the democratic will of the people reflected in the voting polls to elect the National Constituent Assembly (ANC) was able to impose peace in the country. “Venezuela has reached peace and now it has to be consolidated”, he said.
