Meet the new ministers announced by President Maduro


The president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, appointed new responsibilities in the Executive branch, within the framework of the process of renewal, rectification and change, promoted in early May.
“People of Venezuela! In the framework of the process of renewal, rectification and change, I decided to appoint a group of professionals with extensive experience and high social sensitivity, in important responsibilities for the integral development of the country”, said the head of state on Monday in his account on the Twitter network
Following are the names of the new Executive appointees:
1.- Was appointed Vanesa Montero as Minister of Urban Agriculture, replacing Mayerlin Arias.
2.- Was appointed Admiral Gilberto Pinto, as the new Minister for Ecological Mining Development, replacing Víctor Cano.
3.- César Trómpiz, current rector of the Bolivarian University of Venezuela, was appointed as the new minister for University Education, replacing Hugbel Roa.
4.- Mervin Maldonado was appointed as the new Secretary of the Somos Venezuela Movement and of the Missions, Great Missions and Micromissions System.
5.- Oswaldo Barbera will be the new Minister for Ecosocialism, replacing Heryck Rangel, in order to develop strategies for environmental protection.
6.- Was designated Asia Villegas Poljak as the new minister for Women and Gender Equality.
7.- The GNB G / D, Raúl Alfonso Paredes, will be the new Minister of People’s Power for Public Works.
8.- Likewise, it was created the Ministry for Tourism and Foreign Trade, with the aim of promoting the country’s tourism development, which generates new currencies for the nation. Felix Plasencia will be in charge as the head of this new institution.
Finally, the Head of State thanked the loyalty and commitment of the patriots who were in charge of these spaces, doing a great job at the service of the Fatherland. “Soon new missions will come that, I am sure, you will fulfill with the same delivery”, he wrote.
