The President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, established on Monday, when Earth Day was commemorated, the goal of planting 3 million trees for this year throughout the country:
“If the goal was 1,780,000 trees, we have to raise it to 3 million,” said the President, while he ordered the creation of a special plan to encourage the rescue of memory and fruit trees.
During the activity, he urged eco-sustainable, eco-socialist communities and authorities, to take care so that green areas are maintained.
