The candidate of the Ample Front of the Homeland, Nicolás Maduro, ratified his commitment to end the mafias of “bachaqueros” (hoarder-speculators) that intensify the economic war against the Venezuelan people.
“I do not care what riches they may have. If you are in an economic war against the people you will go to prison, I do not care about your surname. We are going strong”, he said.
Maduro said that after May 20, Venezuela will be heading towards economic growth.
“I am not afraid of the oligarchy or imperialism and I am more determined than ever (…) we are going to make history with the victory of May 20 and then we are going to battle against the criminal mafias for economic stability for peace and economic growth”, he sentenced.
