Maduro: Self-criticism is the essence of the Revolution

Self-criticism is an essential tool used by the Bolivarian Revolution to advance in new mechanisms to achieve effective solutions to errors, said the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro:

“The critical and self-critical Chavismo is the essence of our being, but to strengthen the foundations of anti-imperialism, anti-colonialism, the socialist project, not to weaken it. It is to strengthen the collective conscience and advance the problems, not to sink”, said the Head of State during the First National Congress of Communes and Social Movements, from Miraflores Palace.

To commemorate this Saturday six years of the emblematic “Rudder hit” (Tack change, or change of direction) speech of leader Hugo Chávez, Maduro invited the organized people’s power to make constructive criticisms that impel the Bolivarian Revolution and understand orientations towards the future of the country:

“Chávez was very clear and he left orientations: The commune is the center of construction of the territorial, humanist and Christian socialism of Venezuela”, he said.

In that line, he said that the Congress of the Communes “is a renewal of the commitments and the future plan with Chávez.”
