Bolivarian Government commemorated 195 years of the Amphictyonic Congress of Panama

The Bolivarian Government commemorated the 195 years of the Amphictyonic Congress of Panama, with a solemn act, held this Thursday, July 15, 2021, at the National Pantheon.

The sectoral vice president for Political Sovereignty, Security and Peace, Vladimir Padrino López, made a call for Latin American and Caribbean unity, in the face of the imperial geopolitics of submission, colonialism and interventionism:

In the 21st century, we are invaded by offensive and illegal military bases, which sow discord among Latin Americans; with unity, we will be able to achieve the most precious freedom, our right to choose, to be independent, to breathe and walk through a free and sovereign homeland”, said General-in-Chief Padrino López.

The Minister of People’s Power for Defense, urged us to resume the Bolivarian project and go along the path of unity, marked by Commander Hugo Chávez: “Only then will we see a Caribbean and a united Latin America to face divisions, pettiness and colonial pretensions of the imperialism”, concluded the patriot minister.
