President Nicolás Maduro arrives in Algeria for the second stop on his Eurasian tour

Around midnight this Wednesday (local time), the constitutional president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, arrived in the People’s Democratic Republic of Algeria, the second stop on his official tour of countries in the Eurasian region, which began this Tuesday. June 7th.

The objective of this official tour is to continue with the intense work agenda in Eurasia that began this Wednesday in Ankara, Turkey.

In images broadcast by Venezolana de Televisión (VTV), as well as messages published by the Head of State through his social networks @NicolasMaduro, could be watched his arrival at the Houari Boumedienne International Airport in Algiers.

The Venezuelan President landed in Algeria accompanied by his work entourage and the First Combatant woman, Cilia Flores.

There he was welcomed by the prime minister of the host nation, Aymen ​​Benabderrahmane, in addition to the Venezuelan ambassador to that African nation, José Sojo.

The president received the military honors corresponding to his high investiture as Head of State:

“Thanks to this friendly and sisterly nation for opening its doors to us”, he said on his Twitter account.

Previously, in Ankara, President Maduro and his counterpart Recep Tayyip Erdoğan signed three new bilateral agreements on agricultural, financial and monetary matters, in order to strengthen the map of bilateral strategic cooperation between the two nations.
