President Maduro: We have come to China to continue the path of acting big
The President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, ratified the deepening of strategic cooperation relations in Venezuela and China to promote shared development in harmony:
“We have come to China to extend our arms and to tell you that we continue on the path of shared development, of dreaming and acting in a big way. We are closing the 16th Mixed Commission that in a consecutive, persevering, disciplined manner has made the high-level strategic partnership that our peoples and our governments have declared”, said the Head of State.
Speaking at the closing ceremony of the sixteenth meeting of the China-Venezuela high-level commission in Beijing, the Venezuelan Head of State stressed that the 28 agreements signed in connection with this work meeting are aligned with the Program for Economic Recovery, Growth and Prosperity, launched on August 20.
In this regard, he detailed the economic challenges that the Venezuelan nation has faced as a result of the war imposed by imperial countries and sectors of the national right wing and, in this regard, valued China’s support to solve them:
“I had to go through economic sanctions measures from the United States and Europe pursuing Venezuela’s bank accounts, kidnapping billions of dollars in international accounts and blocking trade,” but “thanks to the agreements of the mixed commission and the solid China-Venezuela relationship, our country could face these circumstances and I can tell you that today Venezuela remains standing”, he said.
The new 28 agreements of bilateral cooperation subscribed include oil, energy, mining, gold, iron, technology, education and culture scopes.
