Were activated diplomatic and legal mechanisms to extradite those involved in frustrated assassination

The Vice President for Communication, Culture and Tourism, Jorge Rodríguez, informed that there has been an accelerated advance in the establishment of the intellectual authorship of the assassination in degree of frustration against the President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro:

“We want to inform the country that regarding the horrible crime, which was attempted to perpetrate, (that of) the assassination in degree of frustration, the mass murder of high political and military officials of Venezuela, on August 4 (is greatly advanced) the establishment of responsibilities, material authorizations and accelerated progress is being made on determining the intellectual authorship”, he said at the exit of the Council of Vice Presidents.

He reported that the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela has activated diplomatic and legal mechanisms to extradite those involved in the attack who are abroad:

“There are legal and diplomatic mechanisms so that they can respond to the Venezuelan justice”, he said, adding that meetings were held with the Chargé d’Affaires from the US and from Colombia.

He said that the diplomats were informed about the results of the investigations by the investigators and requested that the mechanisms be activated to hand over the indictees to the facts that are in both countries so that they may respond to justice.
