A total of 247 new cases of COVID-19 were detected in the last 24 hours in Venezuela, of which seven cases are imported from Panama (3), Turkey (2), Cuba (1) and the Dominican Republic (1), raising to 530,649 the confirmed cumulative total of cases.
The cases registered today are located in Miranda (97), Caracas (63), Yaracuy (44), Aragua (8), Lara (4), Barinas (4), La Guaira (3), Carabobo (3), Mérida (3), Falcón (3), Monagas (2), Delta Amacuro (2), Zulia (1), Bolívar (1), Cojedes (1) and Amazonas (1).
This was announced this Monday by the Vice President for Communication, Culture and Tourism, Freddy Ñáñez, during the usual daily balance offered by the Presidential Commission for the Control and Prevention of COVID-19, through his account on the Twitter social network, @luchaalmada.
On day 855 since the pandemic arrived in Venezuela, the country registers the figure of 5,748 as the total number of deceases. The number of recovered patients is 521,308 and there are 3,593 current active cases.
