This Friday begins process of benefit to people prosecuted for political violence

The political leader, Jorge Rodriguez, informed on Thursday night, that from this Friday, will begin the process that benefits the people who are deprived of freedom as a result of the political violence caused in the country during 2017.

From Miraflores Palace, after a meeting was held by the Governors from the opposition with the National President, the Vice President for Communication and Culture, indicated that the Commission for Truth, Justice and Peace, together with the Public Ministry will be the responsible for evaluating the cases.

“Tomorrow, starting at 12 noon, will begin this process to take effect, through the Commission for Truth, which will mean procedural benefits for this group of people who are under the action of the courts of justice in Venezuela for typified crimes related to political violence, with actions against the Constitution, against the Republic and against the Homeland. Starting tomorrow, will begin the process of benefits for these Venezuelans”.

“President Maduro ratified these opposition Governors, who are the guarantors of this process, that the Commission for Truth has been consolidating all cases of relations with people who, being militants of a political awning, committed violent acts against other people, in violent acts against public and private property and in violent acts against the Constitution and the life of the Republic, the President will comply as he has just established in this meeting with his word”, he said.

He explained that these actions are framed, in the dialogues that the Head of State took since his arrival in April 2013.

“It was one of his main campaign offers that we promoted all the necessary events, all the calls for a real, fruitful dialogue, that are necessary, to definitively consolidate the peace of the Republic”, he said.

Similarly, the search for a cooperation strategy, in order to solve the situation that the country is experiencing as a result of unconventional war promoted by right-wing economic sectors and the blockade imposed by the United States Government.

“The main process of cooperation, the main instrument of cooperation that we request from some nations of the world, that they stop attacking and blocking the Venezuelan Homeland. We want them to stop attacking the people of Venezuela and in this way be able to access the purchase of supplies, medicines, food”, he concluded.
