The head of the delegation of political dialogue for the Bolivarian Government, Jorge Rodríguez, expressed his optimism to reach a political agreement with the opposition delegation, with the aim of establishing peace, and set out to settle differences through democratic means.
«It is good news for the people of Venezuela, it is good news for the women and men of peace of the whole world. It is very bad news for the biggest defeated in the consignment of this agreement, that is the extremist administration of the President of the United States, Donald Trump», he said.
Rodriguez said that this decision represents a blow to the interventionist plans against Venezuela promoted by the US Secretary of State, Rex Tillerson, along with governments like those of Spain and Colombia, led by Mariano Rajoy and Juan Manuel Santos respectively.
«It is a terrible news for the interventionist, warmongering, rude tour that Mr. Tillerson in his double duty, or in his double role as the owner of Exxon Mobil and at the same time Secretary of State did for all the countries of the Lima cartel to generate a aggression and block, including the possibility of an oil embargo on Venezuela».
«It is very bad news for Mr. Rajoy, it is very bad news for Mr. Santos, president of Colombia and it is very good news for peace, tranquility and the peaceful coexistence of Venezuelans».
The also Minister of People’s Power for Communication and Information informed that in the agreement there is a proposed date for the presidential elections of the current year.
