In this sense, the work to be intervened is titled “Turkish Landscape”, oil on canvas technique, 60 x 80 centimeters, frame measurements 77.5 X 97.5 centimeters, by unknown author.

In this regard, the ambassador’s visit to CENCREP seeks to know some technical elements related to the landscape of his country that the work presents, which is not reflected at first glance in the painting, and which he will determine, together with the specialized team, to completely restore the work or leave some aspects that show that deterioration occurred over time, as well as the use of materials that were not the most suitable for the elaboration of the piece.

Also present at this activity were Clemente Martínez, president of the National Museums Foundation; Mary Omaña, general coordinator of CENCREP; Yenai Quintero, director of the National Art Gallery and the Cencrep team, led by specialists Zoila Ramírez, Carlos Vale, Andrés Silva and Gabriel Gamboa.
