Strengthening Carnet de la Patria is the way to benefit the people

The President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, informed from the Mountain Barracks, and in a first work meeting for 2018, that the “Carnet de la Patria” (Homeland Card) System must be strengthened, since it is the way to continue advancing in the benefit of the Venezuelan people.

“The path is to strengthen the Homeland card, being that, up to date about 16,595,140 people have enrolled in this innovative social system”

In addition, the Head of State announced that during 2017 were delivered 202,430 new pensions that are in the hands of adults and older adults through the Carnet de la Patria system.

“It is no small thing that the social missions and great missions created by the Supreme Commander Hugo Chavez are articulated with the Carnet de la Patria”, said the National President.

Finally, Nicolás Maduro said that our people should have more and more access to technology such as smartphones and tablets, so that Venezuelans can be integrated into the VeQR application of the Carnet de la Patria System.

“So far we have counted some 540 thousand users who have downloaded the VeQR application on the Play Store.”

He stressed that through the Carnet de la Patria System was allowed to perform 415,419 surgical interventions thanks to the application and the information provided.

He pointed out that more than 860,000 young members of the Somos Venezuela Movement have been grouped for their benefit, as well as the bonus system “that we paid in 2017 directly to the people without intermediaries”.
