COVID: Venezuela registered 246 new cases in the last 24 hours

A total of 246 new cases of COVID-19 were detected in the last 24 hours in Venezuela, of which four cases arrived from Panama, bringing the confirmed accumulated total to 527,593 cases.

The community cases registered today are located in the states Zulia (51), Mérida (35), Yaracuy (29), Caracas (26), Barinas (24), Carabobo (21), Bolívar (19), Miranda (16), Táchira (12), Apure (2), Delta Amacuro (2), Nueva Esparta (2), La Guaira (1), Amazonas (1), and Lara (1).

This was announced this Thursday by the Executive Vice President of the Republic, Delcy Rodríguez, during the usual daily balance offered by the Presidential Commission for the Control and Prevention of COVID-19, through her account on the Twitter social network, @delcyrodriguezv.

On day 844 since the pandemic arrived in Venezuela, the country records the figure of 5,739 as the total number of deaths, with one deceased in the last 24 hours. The number of recovered patients is 519,447 and there are 2,407 current active cases.
