The President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, assured that 2018 will be a year of prosperity and victory, for the construction of the Empowered Venezuela.
“We are on the threshold of a 2018 that I am sure is going to be a year of expansion of the revolutionary forces, of consolidating peace, of expanding national hope, of recovery and overcoming economic problems”, he said.
The Head of State, highlighted the electoral behavior of the Venezuelan people, who elected the National Constituent Assembly, as well as new governors, for the consolidation of public and political order of the Homeland.
“I am sure that the steps that the Venezuelan people have marked this year 2017, choosing a Plenipotentiary ANC, electing new regional authorities, electing the mayors of the 335 municipalities of the country next December 10, next year all these steps that has marked the people of peace, of sovereignty, of a national will, will be consolidated, and we will have a 2018 of hope, prosperity and victory”, he said.
In the framework of the 97th anniversary of the Bolivarian Military Aviation, President Maduro highlighted the performance of this institution, who together with the Bolivarian National Armed Forces are continuing the consolidation of the socialist project.
