The Constitutionalist, Diosdado Cabello, informed that the Attorney General’s Office bought a building in the city of Maturín (Monagas state) for the amount of 19 million bolivars in 2011, and the seller reported that he was being extorted.
The building, currently abandoned due to habitality problems, was bought and after the procedure the seller was asked for a commission payment of three million bolivars.
For this reason he made the denounce to the authorities of Monagas state and they sent a prosecutor from Caracas, who took the documents of the case.
The constituent emphasizes that the property is currently being rented for commercial offices. He warned that the denounce will be sent to the Comptroller General of the Republic, Manuel Enrique Galindo.
