This Thursday, the President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, activated the Petro Inmobiliario (Real Estate Petro) system, which will allow for alliances with private companies and provide financing with the Venezuelan crypto currency.

“The Real Estate Petro System is born in Venezuela, which in the heat of the Anti-Blockade Law will allow us to advance in the fulfillment of our housing goals”, said the Venezuelan head of state during the presentation of the 3,200,000 housing units of the Great Mission Housing Venezuela (GMVV).

The National President pointed out that the implementation of the Real Estate Petro System – requested by the Minister for Habitat and Housing, Ildemaro Villarroel – will allow the Venezuelan crypto currency to be used for financing with private companies for the construction of housing.

It will serve “for the execution of projects with private resources and public and private financing, having as a source of payment the mortgage credits of the beneficiaries and the agreements of mixed sales of houses”, emphasized the Venezuelan president.

From the Aquiles Nazoa House, in Caracas; President Maduro indicated that the Real Estate Petro System will contribute with the Anti-Blockade Law, presented last Tuesday before the National Constituent Assembly (ANC), which will be debated by the Special Commission of the Plenipotentiary Power.

“Its working sessions have already started strongly, intense debate on the strengths of the law, its scope and to improve it. I hope that next week the National Assembly will approve the constitutional anti-blockade law and with this law we can build and reach 400 thousand houses this year”, he said.

Likewise – as the Venezuelan president explained -, with the Real Estate Petro System we will be able to continue with the pace of construction of 400,000 houses per year and reach the goal of 5,000,000 homes.
