Maduro urged to retake socialism of concrete and real actions in all its dimensions

The President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, on Tuesday urged the Venezuelan people and especially the political leaders, to take up every day the momentum of the construction of socialism of concrete and real actions.

“Every day the people have to cultivate the awareness of what is the effort that must be done in each space to build socialism,” he said from Miraflores Palace, where he welcomed a mobilization of the workers for the commemoration of the centenary of the Russian Revolution.

He recalled that Commander Hugo Chavez, spoke of the five dimensions of socialism:

The first is the political dimension, this has to do with socialist, popular and direct democracy, beyond the electoral forms: “The true democracy is what gives political power to the people”.

The second dimension is economic, productive socialism, the development of the productive forces of the country, which is the only way to overcome the economic war and the great instrument to achieve these objectives, are the productive councils of working men and women.

The third dimension is the social one, in this point the missions and great missions are the backbone of the construction of the new model of social welfare, in socialism.

The fourth dimension is the territorial one, this speaks of the construction of the communal system, in the cities and neighborhoods, the power in the communal councils. Currently this socialist dimension is being applied through the Local Committees of Supply and Production (CLAP), to overcome the economic war.

The fifth and last dimension is the spiritual one, it seeks the moral, the new man, the new society, solidarity as a value practiced, honesty in all aspects of social life and values of loyalty and love for the Homeland.

“The task in the political dimension is to win on December 10 (in the municipal elections); the task in the economic dimension is for the CPTs to become the instrument of productive socialism; in the social dimension, the Carnet de la Patria (Homeland Card) is increasingly effective and serves the entire people, and strengthens the mission system; the task in the territorial dimension is to strengthen the socialist character of the communal councils and communes; and the task in the spiritual dimension is the construction of a new value system where corruption and bureaucracy are corroded”, he exhorted.
