The Chancellor of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Jorge Arreaza, met Wednesday with the representatives of the League of Arab States, to denounce the campaign of political and economic aggression orchestrated by the United States’s Department of State, through the communication media transnationals, with the aim of perpetrating a military invasion against our country:
“Before the information manipulation against Venezuela, we wanted to provide first-hand information about the aggressions that is facing the country, who are the ones behind them and their links with the United States”.
This was stated by the Venezuelan official, as part of his participation in the 39th session of the Human Rights Council of the United Nations (UN), which is held in Geneva, Switzerland.
Arreaza described the meeting with the permanent representatives of the Arab group at the UN as very good, thanks to the bonds of brotherhood created since the arrival of the Bolivarian Revolution under the leadership of Commander Hugo Chávez, and reiterated under President Nicolás Maduro:
“They have received it with much attention, and we know that the Arab world will support Venezuela in international multilateral organizations in the face of any circumstance of aggression”, he said.
