On Tuesday, the new rules for the functioning of the National Constituent Assembly (ANC) will be announced for approval in the plenary session of this deliberative body, as stressed the Constituent elected by the Capital District, Pedro Carreño.
This was reported during his participation in the “Encendidos” (Turned on) program, broadcast by Venezolana de Televisión, where he explained that this statute, besides regulating the operation of this maximum instance of the People’s Power, will have the permanent commissions established.
He pointed out that if the conjuncture requires special commissions they will conformed for a period of 30 days, as established in the new regulation. “The National Constituent Assembly pays the land for Peace, and that is already felt in the streets of the country. This is the way for the development of Venezuela”.
He also asserted that regional elections are an opportunity to preserve peace and consolidate the country’s stability. However, he warned that the opposition, despite announcing that they will participate in those elections, will not abandon the path of violence.
“The right wing is in a mirage that convulses between truth and lies. With the national and international opposition, we have a magical realism. They say that they will go to the regional elections, but they do not abandon the path of violence”, said the Constituent.
