ANC electoral bases bash down right-wing dirty war

The leader of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela, Jorge Rodríguez, said this Wednesday that the electoral bases of the National Constituent Assembly (ANC), presented on Tuesday by the President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, collapsed the dirty war that opposition sectors have undertaken against this initiative.

“They tried to distort a democratic proposal for the people, they installed their dirty war laboratories and that collapsed yesterday when our President Maduro presented the electoral bases of the National Constituent Assembly”, said Rodríguez

The political leader stressed that the electoral bases contain absolute pertinence and technical clarification and explained that “they are the framework through which the Electoral Power elaborates the process of regulation for these elections”.

He took advantage to highlight the democratic mood that has characterized the Revolution and the Government of President Maduro: “I doubt there is any country in the world that has a permanent electoral process … in here, if there are no elections, President Maduro invents them and summons them”.

He insisted that the intention of the right wing has been “to distort this democratic proposal for the people”.
