Venezuela and Iran evaluate issues of mutual benefit

The Executive Vice President, Delcy Rodríguez, held a meeting Tuesday with Mr. Hajjatollah Soltani, Vice General Director for the American Continent and the Ambassador of Iran, Mr. Mostafa Alaei, where they discussed issues of mutual benefit for both nations.

The meeting was also attended by the Vice President for Planning and Development of Venezuela, Ricardo Menéndez. The information was made known through the Twitter account of the Vice Presidency of Venezuela.

It is worth noting that on Saturday, December 1, the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, reaffirmed the importance of strengthening ties of cooperation with the Islamic Republic of Iran, as part of the Diplomacy of Peace policy hold by both countries.

During the 19 years of the Bolivarian Revolution, Venezuela and Iran have established various alliances in energy, agriculture, education, commerce, industry, housing, culture and sports.
