The Vice President of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Diosdado Cabello, said this Wednesday that the Venezuelan opposition is manipulating the people to carry out terrorist acts with the intention of generating a coup d’ etat against Nicolás Maduro.
«You, mister terrorist who is on the streets, do you know what they are going to do if they ever came to overthrow President Maduro in that way? They will run you over, there will be left only the story of you, they will not respect you as we have respected you, they will riddle you with bullets and they will be applauded by the world in doing so, because you are being used», said Cabello during the 157th edition of his «Con el Mazo Dando» (Hitting with the Hammer) program.
He informed that, as part of this destabilizing plan are being imported anti-gas masks, rolling ball projectiles, golf balls, slingshots, marbles, among others – in order to support these terrorist acts, and he announced that he will reveal whoever is responsible.
«With names and surnames, tonight begins the «Knock Knock» operation, these are things that have been confiscated in the air customs», he said.
He emphasized that if the owners of the shipping agencies allow them to transfer these equipments to terrorists, they must have the law against terrorism applied.
On the other hand, he stressed that Venezuela does not give up despite violent attacks because the country wants peace. In that sense, he recalled the story of Rondon:
«The Liberator Simon Bolivar was about to surrender in a moment of the battle, and exclaimed:» We have no choice but to surrender «. And Colonel Rondón came out: «My general, we can not surrender because Rondón has not fought yet». Then Bolivar told him: «You go, and save the country». And the Colonel went out with 40 soldiers, and ran over the realists», explained Cabello.
«A lot of people ask: Why Rondón has not fought already? And I tell you that it is not yet time for Rondón to go out. Rondón is the people, is the working people and the people wants Peace», he emphasized.
