The large number of candidate nominations, participation and tranquility are some of the fundamental aspects to be highlighted in the Regional and Municipal Elections, according to Sandra Oblitas, former rector of the National Electoral Council:

“42 percent of Venezuelan men and women attended the meeting, the people of Venezuela always give us demonstrations of high civility, high conviction of peace, defense of sovereignty and its historical legacy”, explained the expert on electoral matters.

Sandra Oblitas, who participated in the “Vía Alterna” (Alternate Way) program, led by journalist Isbemar Jiménez, affirmed that the Venezuelan Electoral System is unbreakable and this has been reflected by all the international observers who have declared about the recent elections: “There is no doubt of the strength of the Electoral System, all the reports coincide absolutely”.

Regarding the preliminary report presented by the European Union Observation Mission, the professor assured that if it is read transversally, it acknowledges and reflects all the strengths of the Electoral System, beyond the “saved intentions”, said Sandra Oblitas on Radio Nacional de Venezuela.
