Maduro expresses solidarity with the Argentinean people for victims of avalanche


The Ministry of People’s Power for Foreign Affairs issued a statement in which the President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, expressed his condolences with the Argentinean people, after the avalanche that caused several human losses.

Following, the textual statement:

The President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro Moros, on behalf of the Government and the Venezuelan People, expressed his sincere words of solidarity with the People of the Republic of Argentina, on the occasion of the avalanche happened in the Province of Jujuy, which caused the lamentable loss of human lives, the evacuation of approximately one thousand citizens and the affectation to the communities of Volcán, Tumbaya and Fraile Pintado.

Venezuela, consistent with the principles of solidarity and international cooperation, offers its support and unconditional assistance to alleviate the hardship of citizens affected by the rains that have struck this brotherly country.

The Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, in expressing its solidarity with the families of the victims, reiterates its fraternity and friendship with the Argentinean people.
