The President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Delcy Rodríguez, highlighted the advances of the national dialogue and the holding in Caracas of the third round of the Political Dialogue Table between the National Government and representatives of the 2015 National Assembly.
The Head of State ratified the constitutional and institutional roadmap of the country: «There will be elections, all those mandated by our Constitution, organized by a renewed electoral authority and with the world as a witness.»
Regarding the work points addressed in the negotiations, the Dignitary specified that «the table of political dialogue is focused on upcoming electoral processes, the reform of the TSJ (Supreme Tribunal of Justice), and the recovery of resources for socioeconomic relief following the earthquake.»
Likewise, the President reaffirmed the State’s commitment to public freedoms and civic peace: «Peaceful protest is a constitutional right, and the exercise of that right must be accompanied by respect for the physical and moral integrity of our security officers.»
