From Bolívar state, the Acting President of the republic, Delcy Rodríguez, signed the Reform of the Statute of the Police Investigation Function, a law that aims to standardize the hierarchical ranks of police investigation bodies with the other security agencies:
“We owed this to the police investigation agencies, which is why today we signed and delivered the law,” said Rodríguez, while thanking at the same time the National Assembly for completing the legislative work in just a few days.
“Today marks exactly one month since this legislative period began, and look how much progress we are making. Of the public powers in Venezuela that did not allowed chaos, that maintained peace in the country,” said the president, referring to the institutional capacity to maintain the continuity of the republic “in the face of the kidnapping of President Maduro.”
In such sense, she noted that the State institutions are marching “as a single team” of Government, one that operates in complete synchronicity: “Let it be understood that Venezuela has a government. That in here governs the people of Venezuela, and that is why it is important to consolidate the People’s Power in the communal circuits.”
The action of the Acting President took place during the process of adequation of the Peace Quadrants in Bolívar state, where she was accompanied by the Minister for Interior Relations, Justice and Peace, Diosdado Cabello, the governor of the state, Yulisbeth García, depouties to the National Assembly, and heads of Security Forces, who, along with the people, received the endowment of equipment and units to guarantee security in the region.
